Guests can mingle throughout the first floor. Turning left from the entry hall, you are in the living room. Small weddings in front of the fireplace are very pretty.

 

Turning to your right, you are in the Tavern Room and Tavern Bar area. This bar makes the perfect place for bar service for smaller parties or weddings.

  

 You enter the dining room from the back of the living room. Shown below is the dining room set for a sit down dinner of 32. Also below is our buffet set-up.

   

  

For every wedding we create a luscious hors d'oeuvre table complete with strawberries and chocolate dipping sauce, smoked salmon, imported cheeses, and a vegetable tray with our homemade Roquefort Bleu Cheese dip.

 

Pictures of the bride and groom as children and wedding pictures of the parents in the front hall make a nice display near the cake. The cake can be carried to the patio for cutting.

The 17th century gazebo makes a lovely place for a ceremony. Complete with a working bell in the tower to sound the joyous event! Below is a picture of the Bride and Groom leaving the gazebo after the ceremony.

   

    

 With tenting, Kanaga House can accommodate weddings up to 175 guests. Plus, our patio serves as  a great dance floor for the first dance.

     

We do not have a liquor license, but you are allowed to bring your own alcohol.  There is a bar set-up fee and you must hire one of our bartenders.
